Simeon Tennant

Collaborating with BrandSeers on motion graphics and film production work since the start of BrandSeers, Simeon is a trusted talent. Whether it’s motion graphics, international brand idents or music videos, Simeon Tennant provides originality and professionalism in equal measure. He is a talented illustrator, animator, graphic designer and screen printer – a rare combination that leads to deeply engaging creative solutions.

He has created channel idents and programme packages for 4 Music, Sverge 4, Netherland Drie and BBC, among others, and his impressive list of international commercial clients includes Pepsi, Hallmark, Boots, Gillette, D&G, Make-A-Wish, Rihanna and MasterCard. He also directed the title sequence to Madonna’s first film Filth & Wisdom, along with animating a music video for Ghostly International artist, Solvent.

Born in North Yorkshire, Simeon studied printmaking at John Moores, Liverpool in the UK and then went on to work as a designer at BBC and then 4:2:2 London where he learnt all aspects of motion graphics. He is a master at After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator, and is a visiting lecturer in motion graphics at the Istituto Marangoni, London, as well as an active member of and the London Art Directors Institute.

He speaks English, French and is now rapidly learning Turkish. Sim has worked across cultures ranging from the UK, The Netherlands, France, Sweden, Hungary, Romania, Lebanon, to name but a few. He has a good eye for typography and loves packaging design and developing his own fonts.
